When you are trying to impress your freinds with your robot project you have to at least make something move.
You need to move the robots head or eyes or make an arm go up and down.
This can be done with a remote control like an RC car or plane or with a more advaned DMX type animatronic device or a cheaper Pololu board and a joystick or some actual robotics servos/sensors/arduino and code.
But just to make something move you will need to attach a servo of some type or a basic motor to the joints of the robot (arm/leg) or some part of the head/eyes/mouth.
