This section will talk about the ways to control a robot arm in a factory/warehouse environment.
Many of the major industrial robot makers have had their robot arms in place for more than 25 years so the way that they are controlled will vary compared to what is possible on the current robot arms.
We will talk about some of the common terms used in the industrial robot area and how to program them including using a teaching pendant or ways to offline program or use simulators.
It can get very confusing in a hurry with terms like ROS and the other control/simulation programs like RoboDK, RoboLogix, AWS RoboMaker, RoboGuide etc.
